Working as intended

Bills, credit notes and tax rates only come from Xero. They're accounting records; Xero owns them.

Sync frequency is org-wide, not per Xero organisation. It's under Organization Wide Settings.

The default direction is One Way. Deliberate, so setup mistakes can't write into Salesforce. Switch when you're ready.

Nothing syncs until you enable it. A fresh install moves no data until objects are switched on.

Send To Xero doesn't bypass validation. Same mappings, same rules — just sooner.

Fixed recently

"Sync is currently running" when removing a Xero organisation. The delete guard treated a scheduled-but-idle job as running. Fixed — see the detail.
