Running Your First Credit Check

Updated 15 June 2026

With Equifax connected, you can request a credit report from any Account and keep the result on the record — no portal switching, no copy-paste.

Run a check

  1. Open an Account and choose Run Equifax check in the action bar.
  2. Confirm the entity details to check.
  3. Choose the report type and submit. The result is attached to the Account in seconds.

Trigger checks from Flow

You don't have to run checks by hand. Drop the Equifax element into a Flow to run a check automatically when an Opportunity reaches a stage you choose — for example, before extending credit terms.

Flow elements need Enterprise Edition

TwoCanConnect's Flow elements — the actions you drop into Flow Builder — are available on Salesforce Enterprise Edition and above. On Professional Edition the package works, but automating it from Flow isn't available.

Tip

Use the score and risk signals on the Account to gate your sales process — a simple validation rule can stop an Opportunity progressing until a check has run.

Decision audit trail

Every check is timestamped and stored against the Account, so you have a complete, defensible record of when a decision was made and on what basis.

Compliance

The audit trail is designed for compliance reviews. Keep access restricted and retain records in line with your obligations.
