Every request captures who ran it, when, against which Account, and what came back — stored on the record rather than downloaded.

Why on the record

A report in a portal or on someone's laptop isn't accessible to the person who needs it later, and doesn't survive that person leaving. On the Account, it's where anyone reviewing the relationship will look.

For compliance reviews

The common question is whether a check was performed before terms were extended. With checks stored against the Account and timestamped, that's a report rather than an investigation.
